Health

Nnamulu Institute is particularly interested in making presentations (key Note Address, Workshops, One-on-One discussions, etc) on any of the above topics/issues. Such presentations can be made in any situation such as during conventions, group gatherings, etc.

On Our Health, Dr Udeaja will share some interesting statistics on major health problems in the society. Here he will use a question format to remind the group the importance of listening to their body and informing family members of problems that may exist in the family. In this case, he will challenge the myth that “what one does not know does not kill him/her.” Those in our society who are knowledgeable and well informed do enjoy better health overall, however, many continue to allow many belief systems (such as those inherent in voodoos, religious fanaticism, etc) prevalent in the society to serve as impediment to overcoming simple health-related issues. Towards this end, Dr. Udeaja believes that those of us in developed societies in particular have a major role and personal responsibility in helping our people enjoy quality health not only by providing cash and medicines but by education and support for health awareness programs.

"At a time when African immigrants in America are making their presence felt like other groups, it is refreshing to see Dr. Joseph Udeaja guide them on how they can achieve a greater impact both in the U.S. and back home." — Felix Nnaji, President, Uzoagba USA, Dallas, Texas.
